OK, I’ve never ever been a fan of Billy Ray Cyrus’s music, but I have to say he seems to be one heck of a father.  My children love Hannah Montana on the Disney channel.  Hannah is played bu Billy Ray’s daughter, Miley Cyrus.  The show has some pretty good themes for children and pre-teens (friends matter, parents care, etc…) though I find it focuses too much on 9th grade girls having boyfriends.  But I’m off topic.

Apparently when Billy Ray was on top of the country world he left the industry to focus on raising his children.  How’s that for dedication.  Now I’m only going by what I’ve heard and read, but that seems pretty decent.  Hopefully his daughter will not be the next Brittany Lohan tramp and she’ll listen to her parents as her career progresses.  I don’t know much about Billy Ray but I can’t help but feel happy for him because it appears that his life choices very well may have paid off and his children will be better for it.  Nice job Billy Ray.
