What the hell is wrong with the Red Sox!!! How do you have a 14.5 game lead on the Yankees in the beginning of June and then cut it just about half by mid-June. Come on guys!!! For Christ’s sake if this doesn’t pan out then the ‘78 Red Sox will be happy you took the heat off of them. I’d even go so far as to say the Yankees implosion in ‘04 wouldn’t be as bad if you blow this. The pitching seems to be there (though the last nights were really rough) but the bats are silent. Real silent. Scary silent.

It is early and just remember that the Red Sox had a 7 game lead not that long ago.

I know, I know. I’m just frustrated. They were hitting so much better before. That and I have a lot of Yankee “friends” giving me crap. Guess I need some new friends
